Everyone knows that in Yellowstone you can observe geysers in action. But how does this happens? Have you really stop and think about it? Introducing Awesome Science ? Explore Yellowstone with Noah Justice. I will admit that after watching the first episode of the Awesome Science DVDs I was excited to watch this DVD. I knew that this series is packed with fascinating information and that it was well done. I was impressed with the first DVD and I was looking forward to watch the second one. I wasn?t disappointed.

In the Yellowstone episode, we learned how the petrified forests in Yellowstone were formed. This section of the DVD was amazing. It was interesting that they have tied this petrified forests with the events that happened at Mt. St. Helens. Seeing it being done again after the eruption of Mt. St.Helens was fabulous if you ask me. This particular DVD will bring the evidence of the historical timeline found in the Bible to life right before your eyes! You will learn how the Earth was shaped after the flood and how you can prove that the Earth is not as old as many thinks.

While watching this DVD, I just wanted to pack my family and drive to Yellowstone to see things with our own eyes. Not being able to do this at this point in time, the DVD is a perfect way to discover creation science and how canyons, geysers and petrified forests were formed. It is definitively an eye opener for God?s wonderful work everywhere we look.

There is also a study guide available for the DVD. The study guide contains activities to help the information you have learned while watching the DVD sink into your brain and being absorb. There will be fill in the blanks, discussion questions, true/false questions, as well as bonus activities to do. My only disappointment for this study guide is that I can?t put it in the DVD case as it is slightly too big. It would have been nice if it could be inserted in the DVD case. I hope that the publisher will keep that in mind for future study guide on future DVDs on this series. Having the study guide tucked inside the DVD case will help us avoid searching for it when you need it.

This DVD is also part of a DVD series titles Awesome Science. So far three titles are available covering the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone and Meteor Crater/Petrified Forest. Other titles will be produced later this year on Yosemite and Zion National Parks, Mt. St. Helens and John Day Fossil Beds. After watching the first two episode of the Awesome Science DVD series I can honestly say that our family is hooked and will consider the future titles when they come out.

If you are looking for strong evidence on the creation science in the nature, I would like to suggest that you consider checking out the Awesome Science DVD series. Though it says that the DVDs could be watched by children, I would like to suggest that kids should be about the age of 8 and up to comprehend the information presented. Though my 4 and 6 years old did stay put and watched both DVDs I am uncertain of the understanding. For example, their favorite parts were the bloopers that you can find on the DVDs. They laughed like crazy while watching them. Yeah, they are young but they watched both DVDs no problem and I am assuming that their brain acted like a sponge in absorbing the information. These DVDs will definitively found their way to the DVD player numerous times as the kids grow up.
